Di notte volgendo lo sguardo verso il Cielo, ci si può affacciare verso il palcoscenico dell'Universo per scoprire l'altra parte della Natura, in tutta la sua purezza.
I Cieli Stellati dei paesi “sviluppati” sono ormai completamente cancellati dall'invadente inquinamento luminoso, ma l'Africa offre tantissime opportunità per chi, come noi, ama perdersi nelle profondità del Cosmo.
Qui, all'Astrofarm Tivoli, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di osservare il Cielo australe nella sua maestosità.
Nonostante ne avessimo sentito parlare entusiasticamente da astrofili che ci avevano preceduto, lo stupore per l'incantevole spettacolo colpisce e incanta in maniera indescrivibile.
La Via Lattea, squarciata dalle nubi oscure, abbraccia tutto il cielo. Le stelle sembrano appese alla Volta Celeste donando, così, un effetto tridimensionale. Siamo all'interno della Galassia.
All'Astrofarm Tivoli abbiamo trovato ottime strutture astronomiche per poter godere al meglio questo spettacolo ma oltre alle nostre aspettative, ci hanno colpito la grande ospitalità di Reinhold, la squisita cucina, la pace e la tranquillità che qui si possono respirare: una vera Oasi.

La colazione e il pranzo sono momenti in comune con gli ospiti della Farm, gustando le specialita' dello chef, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di scambiare esperienze con astrofili provenienti da tutta Europa.
Difficile sarà dimenticare i colori del cielo al tramonto, quando sulle dune, abbiamo trascorso momenti di assoluto e incontaminato relax, gustando carne essiccata con della buona birra namibiana. E questo è stato il colpo di grazia (non la birra). Ci siamo ammalati di mal d'Africa.
Abbiamo trascorso dieci giorni lontani dal caos e dalla frenesia della monotona quotidianeità delle nostre città, a contatto con il Cielo e la Terra, è stato come tornare indietro alle origini. Duro è stato il momento del rientro a casa e l'unica consolazione è stata la promessa che ci siam fatti noi stessi di ritornare.

If you look towards the namibian sky at night, you‘ll discover the other side of Nature in all its clearness, on the great stage of the Universe.
Starry skies in developed countries are almost entirely hidden by light pollution , but Africa still offers lots of opportunities to the observers who love exploring the deepness of the cosmos.
At Tivoli Astrofarm we had the possibility to observe the breathtaking southern sky and, even if astronomers are used to talk very eagerly about it, we were nevertheless enchanted by that wonderful sight.
The dark clouds crossing the Milky Way and the stars hanging to the vault of heaven give us a tridimensional effect: we are inside the galaxy.
At Tivoli Astrofarm we found well-equiped observatories providing their guests an impressive encounter with the southern sky, but we were especially impressed by the hospitality of Reinhold, the excellent cooking and the relaxing location: that’s a haven of peace.
All the guests of the Farm take meals together in the lounge of the main homestead where they can taste the chef’s specialities and at the same time we can exchange our experiences with stargazer coming from all over Europe.
We’ll never forget the colours of the sky at sunset when we could enjoy a very relaxing time, tasting dried meat with good namibian beer: that was the final stroke: we fell sick for Africa.
So we passed there ten days beetween Heaven and Earth, far from the stress of our towns and our daily routine, and that experience made us come back to our origins.
The time to get back home came and we left for Italy with the promise to return in that unique land as soon as possible..
